INTERSECTION – ALLES IST POLITISCH

INTERSECTION (It’s political) is a documentary accompanied by a mobile game that makes structures of discrimination tangible. In the game, you run through a city with a randomly assigned character. Depending on your attributes, the world treats you differently: You either get advantages or disadvantages. You realise: This game is not fair. The film follows six people who fight for equality in their work and experience discrimination themselves. They reveal how sexism, racism, queer- and transphobia, and ableism intersect, and what it truly means to live within these structures. In conversation, they explore how we, as a (so-called) woke, feminist, progressive bubble, can find unity and resilience at a time of growing right-wing influence, shrinking rights, and activist burnout. INTERSECTION combines film and interaction: The game is available for download, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in its world.
