Actress Saralisa Volm‘s dark feature directorial debut follows 28-year-old Anja Grimm as she takes up a forestry internship in a remote part of the Bavarian Forest where her father had disappeared without trace when she was eight years old. Anja‘s sudden appearance triggers a brutal murder when a mentally retarded man kills his old, bedridden mother with a spade, and her desire to find out the truth about her father‘s fate is met with increasing suspicion and a wall of silence from the local villagers.
