WANDERER

Ilia, a queer young man of Croatian descent, feels alienated in his everyday life in Germany and longs for a sense of belonging. As he drifts restlessly through work, fleeting encounters and brief moments of intimacy, he is repeatedly pulled out of his inner retreats. An intimate encounter in a nightclub offers Ilia a fleeting chance to feel seen – but in a way that forces him to confront his own insecurity. His search ulti­mately leads him into the solitude of nature, where he is finally able to find a sense of arrival.
