Melda is a successful children’s author tirelessly campaigning for migrant girls and feminist perspectives and depicting courageous girls as colourful dragons in her latest book Time of the Dragons. However, she has still not fulfilled her desire of having a child with husband Adnan. Out of frustration, she goes partying one evening, but her life is then turned upside down after being brutally raped by a group of young men in the subway. When a video of the crime appears online and Melda finds out that she is pregnant, her relationship with Adnan is put to the test. But she wants to go on living, with or without Adnan, and, in the end, blossoms like the beautiful dragons in her book.
